About Andrew
Andrew has been serving the Olympia area as a licensed massage practitioner for over twenty-five years. He brings to his practice a deep respect for the body's innate wisdom, and it was because of his fascination with our bodies' natural intelligence, that he became a massage practitioner.
Andrew's work is therapeutic and effective while also being relaxing and nurturing. He is a great listener and really takes time to hear each client's individual needs. This allows him to choose the most appropriate massage techniques for each of his clients. Andrew empowers clients through education in proper body mechanics, home exercises that improve strength and flexibility, postural awareness, stress reduction, and self-treatment instruction. He enjoys helping his clients learn to reduce stress in their lives. |
Andrew is a very energetic and active person. He enjoys many forms of exercise including: gymnastic strength training, calisthenics, running, stretching, partner dance, hiking, and skiing. As an active person, his body does a lot for him, and he finds that receiving massage regularly, at least once a month, is essential for his health and well being.
A passionate learner, Andrew can often be found reading books about health, nutrition, psychology, and spirituality. He believes that through nutrition, exercise, self-care/massage and lifestyle choices we can come into more balance and ease within our bodies. When Andrew is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family. He also loves to dance and teaches Argentine tango with his wife Angela.
